What We Offer

STILLWATERS WILDERNESS RETREAT is a quiet, secluded sanctuary of 1,200 acres, nestled on a private lake in a much larger wild area only 130 km from Canada’s capital. Deer, beaver, herons, and many other species of mammal and bird abound.

Less than four hours from Toronto, and just an hour-and-a-half from Ottawa, Stillwaters is perfect for a weekend - or longer - escape from the city bustle.

STILLWATERS accomodates eight guests year-round. In the spring, summer, and fall, our seasonal quarters sleep another twelve guests.

STILLWATERS is an ideal haven for groups seeking time alone in a beautiful, natural setting. The lake and woods have a calming effect on tired sprits and provide peace and comfort. If you are looking for a summer cottage that sleeps twenty — for small groups or family reunions — Stillwaters is ideal. Stillwaters only accepts groups and just one at a time - that way visitors are ensured complete privacy.
